A40 Wolvercote Roundabout Improvement 3 January 2017
Improvements to the A40/A44 roundabout junction at Wolvercote north-west of Oxford.
The scheme also includes Cutteslowe (or Summerstown) Roundabout and the section of single carriageway A40 linking the two. Improvements include signalising both roundabouts and adding safer pedestrian crossing facilities.
An additional lane will be provided on the A40 for eastbound traffic between the two roundabouts.
A40 Llanddewi Velfrey to Penblewin Improvement 26 May 2012
Reconstruction of a two-mile section of the A40 in West Wales to provide a high quality single two-lane road.
The aim of this scheme is to provide better overtaking opportunities on a narrow and winding section of the A40, and thus improve safety. The scheme will also include a bypass for the village of Llanddewi Velfrey.
